Frank Wood was in the US Navy from 1970-4, serving aboard USS
Mullinnix DD-944. This is his fifth novel set aboard the Navy’s last all-gun
destroyer. He is currently working on his next book; a cold war naval smuggling thriller set during the
mid-60s in the Mediterranean Sea. Wood lives in northwest Arkansas with
his wife Kim, and Ely.
